Gestetner Product Selector and Equipment Demonstrator

 

Introduction

Equations was contacted by Gestetner, manufacturers of office equipment, after their conventional agency were unable to advise them on how to apply new media to improve sales performance.

 

Problem / Solution

After extensive evaluation of their sales process, we developed a re-usable software engine which, in one product, addressed the following key problem areas.

 

Support management - complex machine specifications could be accurately produced by using the configuration tool without the involvement of senior product specialists.

 

Physical demonstration - with the introduction of our product into the sales process, it is no longer necessary to physically have the machine to demonstrate its features, with a simple animation often explaining complex technical processes.

 

Multilingual communication - selling in over 48 countries and 8 different languages had always proved to be a major obstacle to increased sales. However, with the introduction of our solution, editable language selection is now achieved.

 

Result

As a result, Gestetner now have an incredibly powerful sales support tool which, as well as helping to improve their sales conversion rates, is also used around the world for training.
