Problem
In common with many businesses, the Saft sales force is becoming less technical and so it is important that they can communicate with customers without having to rely on scarce technical support personnel. They have a huge database of collateral from Acrobat PDF files and PowerPoint shows to Lotus Screencam movies, but it can be hard for non-technical sales people to use these files in context of a customer's needs.

Solution
Having had an inflexible system, Saft were pleased to see how simple Knowledgebase was to use and were delighted by the range of file types supported, including shortcuts to some of their battery sizing software. Saft handle all updates and the salesmen are issued with revisions via email to keep their laptops up to date.

Result
By using Knowledgebase Saft can manage their content by putting a structure around it that gives the salesman confidence and improves customer understanding of the proposal.
